OMPSA s.r.l. Mechanical Workshop has been operating since the middle of the 60s in the sector of planning and production of mechanical eccentric presses for cold forming of precision metal parts in the following sectors: footwear sector, clothing industry, goldsmithery and jewelry industry, electric and electronic industry and, more in general, all sectors producing items starting from metal strips.

Thanks to its long-lasting experience our company is able to plan and adjust its machines to our customers' special and unique needs and requirements.

Our production process is entirely carried out by OMPSA staff, starting from the planning phase up to the final testing of the machine, using high-quality products and can be divided into:

2- and 4-column eccentric presses, ideal for use of progressive dies featuring medium and high production speed, for forming, pressing and shearing procedures.

2- and 4-column knuckle-joint presses, ideal for use of progressive dies featuring medium production speed, as well as for forming, pressing and coining.

Our wide range of presses includes presses featuring force values ranging from 25 up to 85 tons.
A series of accessories (feed units and quick-assembly systems for dies) makes the use of these presses really wide and versatile.
Adjusting to fast developments and changes within the market, the OMPSA company always complied with our customers' requirements, offering custom-designed solutions in order to fulfill the most varied needs.
Our machines are well known for their reliability, high level of precision and production speed, not only in Italy but also abroad.
The OMPSA mechanical workshop guarantees just-in-time customer care services on its products worldwide.


1950

The "Pasquini Osvaldo" mechanical workshop is established in via Verdi n° 98, and bears the name of its founder, who is specialized in repairing vehicles.

1955

As a consequence of a change in the market demand, the mechanical workshop starts producing honing machines for tiles.

1958

The Company starts producing shearing machines for leather

1962

Thanks to a substantial development of economy at a local level within the goldsmithery branch, the Company starts planning and producing presses for plated products.

1964

The Company changes its name into "OMPSA"( Pasquini Mechanical Workshops Subbiano Arezzo) and moves to new and wider premises, which are more suitable for production.

1965

The Company starts producing 4-column eccentric presses, which are used for the forming process of small precision metal parts for industrial use in several fields from the footwear industry up to the clothing industry.

1967

For the first time OMPSA starts producing presses with double connecting rod.

1970

A new production line for clicking presses is created in order to fulfill the requirements of the footwear industry and of the clothing industry.

1974

The first two-column presses for automatic shearing of shoe insoles directly from leather rolls are produced.

1978

As a consequence of the automation process of the goldsmithery industry, the Company starts producing two-column hammering presses for the industrial production of chain.

1980

Presses are equipped with the first of model of control device for the adjustment of tonnage (die protection device)

1983

The new and present premises of the OMPSA company are built in Viale Martiri della Libertà 144/A, so as to achieve wider premiers in order to meet the increased production needs.

1988

Electronic devices for management and control of the machine are implemented and the Company starts producing its first electronic feeders.

1989

Planning and production of double-knuckle-joint presses with slowdown device.

1994

Development of a new project concerning the 4-column presses Model 4CN so as to make them extremely precise during working procedures thanks to the replacement of the ball adjustment screw by means of a “plunger-pin” system.

1994

Enlargement of the present headquarters and production premises.

2000

Updating of the electronic part of machines thanks to the addition of operator panels for the programming of parameters starting from the die code.

2001

OMPSA achieves ISO 9001 quality certification.

2001

The project of M200E electronic feeders is completely updated.

2007

OMPSA creates its thousandth press.

2013

A new generation of electronic feeders is developed; the control system is directly renewed and interfaced with the new Touch Screen Display.
